Through this global education, Dr. Studzinski has learned the significance and importance of diversity and respect for other ways of being and seeing the world. As a nature lover, Dr. Studzinski's work tends to focus on ecofeminist perspectives which interrogate what it means to be human via the nonhuman. She is particularly interested in the ways in which speculative fiction authors redefine and rewrite our species to create new and inclusive futures for all life. Additionally, she researches surreal literature and the ways in which is represents reality through many faceted lenses which can in some ways be a more accurate reflective or one which leads to increased understanding of liminal spaces and marginalized peoples and ways.
